David Berger
David Berger is an artist, writer and haiku poet. He works in a variety of mediums, including ink on paper and acrylic on canvas. The play between the natural world and artistic exploration is a constant source of inspiration. A collector once said of his work, it elevates the spiritual feeling in the house. His work has exhibited at the Port Angeles Fine Art Center and many other locations. His nonfiction books include The Music In Us: Artworks of Bette Alexander (Chin Music Press) and Razor Clams: Buried Treasure of the Pacific Northwest (University of Washington Press.) His haiku have appeared in First Frost and other journals. Berger is a member of Puget Sound Sumi Artists, and formerly on staff at The Seattle Times.
