Kevin Hallagan is an American multidisciplinary artist living and working in Seattle, WA. His art is Driven by curiosity, and is heavily rooted in exploration, which allows each piece in his portfolio to influence the next in an evolving body of work which has been exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, and Seattle.
Kevin is driven by a fascination with the way infinite unrelated moments come together to form the foundation, context, and outcome of each of our experiences. This can most clearly be found in his art through themes of fragmentation, flow, and his use of time-based mediums.
With a degree in experimental cinema from SUNY Binghamton, Kevin’s work intentionally engages light, shadow, space, and motion. The way he creates in conversation with materials allows experimentation to become its own medium, bringing a sense of discovery and personality to his work.
