Kuang-Chi Change was born in 1969. She graduated from National Taiwan University of Arts (National Academy of Arts), Master of Fine Arts MFA from City University of New York, and Ph.D in Aesthetics. She works in acrylic mixed media painting and drawing. She has held many solo exhibitions and group exhibitions in Taiwan art museums and galleries. In recent years, the main themes of her works have returned to thinking about the medium of painting and the natural themes surrounding the invisible "garden." Her works intend to express the meaning of the generation of biological schemas under the cross-cultural rhythm of China and the West through a unique metaphorical sense of touch. She integrates into her art her experience and practice of music, such as Guqin and Kunqu Opera, so as to express a unique visual experience and cultural narrative characteristics of painting in contemporary times.
