Born in Pingtung in 1989, Pei-Yin Chen studied in the Department of Sculpture, Taiwan University of the Arts, with a double major in the Department of Graphic Communication Arts. After graduation, she moved to Sanyi. In 2015, she co-founded the studio "Heart Art 13 Life Creation Art" with Zong-Yan Wu. All of her creations are based on her understanding of life. "Apple" is the central theme of creations, while she continues to slowly add other objects, animals, and characters. "Art comes from life, but it is different from life." In fact, what she wants to say is very simple: "art exists everywhere in our lives because it is too accustomed to it, but it is easy to be ignored by us." She hopes that her creations accompany and befriend those with all their joys and sorrows. She believes that happiness fills us with energy, but sleepiness will make us grow. And if we can't avoid it, then she wants to face it together!
