Winnie make was born in Hong Kong. She currently lives in Hong Kong and is the president of the Hong Kong Art League. In the 1970s, she began to study ink painting and calligraphy while in Calgary, Canada; she participated in workshops by the late Hong Kong watercolor master Li Bing and the late ink painting master Lin Qianshi. In 1994, she returned to Hong Kong, set up an art studio, started art education courses, engaged in modern ink and print art creation, and implemented a number of public art installations. The overseas joint exhibition organized by her has received partial support from the Home Affairs Bureau of the Hong Kong Government and the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. The 2020 "International Mini Prints Invitational Exhibition" won a special jury award from the National Printmaking Center of the Art College of National Taiwan Normal University.
