My work focuses on the relationship between myself and the surrounding environment. Each piece is closely tied to personal experience and serves as a way of understanding the self. Every painting is like an experiment, as if searching for something unknown; the traces left on the canvas become the footprints of that search. Within each of us lies such a place—only through continual exploration and pursuit can we discover that the truest source of inspiration is ourselves.
