I always draw animals because I love their eyes. Pureness and gentleness appear in their eyes and I feel like my heart is purified by staring at them. I started to draw animals to express this feeling through my works.
One of the features of my works is texture. I try to use different textures according as the parts of animals such as eyes, month, nose and body so that one work consists of many kinds of texture. I use not only the paints for but also some materials which are rarely used for Japanese paintings, for instance, net, thin Japanese paper and waste paper from shredder.
It would be my greatest pleasure if you could feel my original animals with unique textures are breathing in my pictures.
