Yu-Wen Chiu
Yu-Wen Chiu began to create and publish the "Water Girl" series of installation artworks in 2006. Her water girl elves are created using the lines of animals and plants to create hundreds of different types of spirits. It represents one of the most primitive types of totems.

The "water girl" paper-cut art image and series of works have become Yu-Wen Chiu's unique artistic symbol and spiritual presentation. During the creative process, she has been devoted to exploring the connection between art, natural spirituality, and the natural harmony between self and inner soul. "Water Girl Breeding Project" is Yu-Wen Chiu's paper-cutting creation process lasting ten years; it has become how she pursues and explores her own soul. She has exhibited in Shenzhen and other parts of the world at major international art exhibitions.

Yu-Wen Chiu and her water girl were invited to carry out a wide variety of cross-border cooperation with dance, music, drama, clothing, education, environmental protection and other fields, broadening the path of the art of paper-cutting, and constantly generating new explosive works.
