When he was young, he grew up in the natural environment of Taitung. He experienced many natural disasters during his childhood. After experiencing the devastating scene after a windstorm, he was slowly filled with vitality. It seems that everything has never happened. After he saw the forces of nature, he held the fear of love and the fear of fear, and became this source of inspiration for his creations. The observation and experiences of this scenery, in a way that does not bind to its true appearance, but instead portrays the feelings of being in the same place and sending love to this creation. In the touching, re-structuring and stacking of the painting, and in the strong abstract dynamic line texture, there is a hint of the charm of the landscape and the feeling of the scenery.
In recent years, his series of works have gradually extended from the emotional imagery to the city where he lives. In ordinary life, he pays attention to the changes of the urban context and the infinite pattern of architecture. However, urban experience and memory are the epitome of complex and diverse worlds, presenting a structural overall feeling. Ming-Feng Hsu transforms these figurative elements into abstract elements, which are then re-structured in the works and continued through figurative elements such as stacking, dismantling and repetition. Through this way he explores modern architecture and develops new symbolic vocabulary.
